Full Job Description
Due to a significant increase in demand for our compliance services, Norse Infinity currently have an opportunity for a Water Hygiene Technician to join our team based in Cambridge on a permanent, full-time basis., As a Senior Water Hygiene Technician, you will be responsible for carrying out the professional functions of water hygiene, monitoring, control, and management of Legionella. This position requires you to manage projects and contracts, liaising directly with clients and other stakeholders; so it is essential that you have the ability to competently advise of legislative requirements and provide strategic recommendations. You will be required to :
- Undertake / monitor risk assessments, remedial works, routine tank inspections / annual inspections, quarterly shower / spray tap cleaning, TMV servicing and monthly monitoring
- Work alongside plumbing installations using specialist equipment such as central heating systems and communal hot and cold-water systems
- Creation of quotations based on client requirements either from routing requests or following on from risk assessments
- Carry out diagnostic fault finding on a wide range of plumbing installations, equipment and apparatus, including commercial installations
- Conduct site audits to water hygiene technicians against current legislation and guidance documents
Experience in a similar or related role - City & Guilds (or equivalent) in Legionella Hot & Cold Systems, Disinfection of Water Supply Stems in Buildings and plumbing related subject
- Holds a current CSCS card or is prepared to immediately attain
- Member of the Water Management Society
- Full UK driving licence
