Water Meter Technician

We are proud to be working with Affinity Water, who provide safe drinking water to 3.8 million people, but as water resources are being squeezed (growing population, lower rainfalls etc.), we're helping them to take proactive steps, to solve the upcoming shortfall between supply and demand.

This is where you come in...

As a Smart Water Meter Technician, you will be upgrading existing meters to state-of-the-art smart water meters, so people can see how and when their water is being used.

The installation of smart water meters will also help us identify any leaks or wastage, so action can be taken to prevent unnecessary water loss.

To do this, you will use the latest tech to upgrade and link the new smart meter to the closest mast, then explain to your customer how their new smart meter works!

Can you do it?

If you can drive, are happy working outdoors and physically fit, comfortable with technology and have great customer service skills the answer is probably YES - and we would love to hear from you!

We are focused on recruiting colleagues based on their potential. It doesn't matter about previous work experience, as we'll teach you everything you need to know - a great work ethic and a willingness to learn is more important to us.

Please note you must be at least 19 to attend the training.
