Full Job Description

As a Work Based Learning Manager, you will develop and grow apprenticeships and other workplace learning to meet employer and learner needs and be responsible for the delivery and performance of all WBL programmes and the assessors who deliver them. This role is based at our Cambridge Campus with occasional travel to our campus in Huntingdon as well as requiring visits to employers. You will achieve growth ambitions whilst ensuring high quality and be responsible for the team meeting its targets, caseload management of team, work-based learning budgets and forecasting. You will also be responsible for work-based learning element of the department's performance monitoring reports and SAR You will have line management responsibilities for the Quality Leads and the Work Based Learning Assessors within the team.

Someone with an extensive understanding of Apprenticeships and work based learning. Teamwork Skills: Candidates who have experience working effectively as part of a team. They should understand the needs and expectations of employers and be able to work collaboratively to meet those requirements while aligning with the college's objectives. Problem-Solving Abilities: A Candidate who is adept at identifying challenges and finding practical solutions. They should be proactive in addressing issues that may arise and be able to navigate complex situations effectively. Flexibility and Adaptability: The ability to adapt to changing circumstances and priorities is crucial in the dynamic environment of apprenticeship programs. Commitment to Continuous Improvement: A candidate who are committed to ongoing learning and development. Stay updated on industry trends, best practices, and regulatory changes related to apprenticeships.
