Full Job Description

As a web merchandiser, you will play a crucial role in driving online sales and enhancing the digital shopping experience through strategic product placement, promotion, and user engagement techniques. You will be using customer behaviour insights, and analytical and other market data to drive the performance of your sport online and offline., Website Content

  • Work together with the Sports Ecosystems to implement the sports and campaign strategy online
  • Identify commercial opportunities to improve AOV and Conversion across the site and implement
  • To manage all pages across all websites, ensuring that all products are displayed in the right way, making it easy for the customer to discover and desire.
  • To provide a smooth user experience by ensuring that products are categorized correctly, enabling the customer to find the relevant product quickly; maximizing conversion
  • To ensure that all pages are effectively merchandised, identifying best sellers, key trends & stories.
  • Analysis and Research
  • Monitor and analyze the performance of the actions that you put in place, set up weekly reports, capture relevant KPI data and feedback to your Sports Squad/Campaign team
  • Monitor the market & fully understand trends, gaps, and opportunities in order to optimize listings, increase traffic and improve conversion.
  • Provide feedback and insight for UX and UI based on customer feedback as well as shopping the Decathlon UK, Decathlon United Countries, and competitor sites - identifying potential tests and improvements

    To communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders
  • Demonstrate critical thinking and problem-solving skills
  • Manage risks to the website, operations, communications, and the customer
  • Schedule and time manage your project events as well as being able to prioritize and negotiate timelines/roadmaps

  • Specific requirements/Work environment: This is a hybrid role and would require the successful candidate to attend at least three days a week in our Office in London (Surrey Quays)
