Full Job Description

MAIN PURPOSE OF ROLE

Summarize the main purpose of the role.

To manufacture and deliver high quality and compliant products in accordance with strict guidelines of the Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for each part of the process. Ensuring they are on time, in full, and in a cost effective manner to meet the needs of the business and its customers.

To pro-actively support the business within the Screens and Web Printing Manufacturing area.

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Attend for work in a timely fashion as and when required and maintain good timekeeping for achievement of all tasks.


  • Ensure that all communications, interpersonal interactions and behaviours are consistent with ADC core values and the Abbott Code of Conduct.


  • Conform to Company requirements for correct working attire.


  • Operate the web print line(s) and/or screens equipment for strip and/or sensor product under strict Standard Operating Procedure.


  • Weigh, measure and check raw materials to assure screens that are manufactured contain proper materials and quantities, and do not contain materials that have expired.


  • Perform Mac Pac transactions including generation of batch numbers and material transactions.


  • Perform and support web printing and screen build processes, to input data accurately onto machine HMI's, yield and process efficiency databases.


  • Operate and interpret product inspection systems.


  • Undertake checks and verification of data and documentation reviews as well as perform independent verifications on others work.


  • Assist in the training of fellow web printing and screens technicians.


  • Perform regular Practices versus Procedure (P2P) reviews as directed by Process Lead or Process/Team Manager.


  • Support Exception Report investigations and support any subsequent corrective and/or preventative actions associated with quality exceptions.


  • Pro-actively perform actions to prevent or reduce the re-occurrences of non-conformances within the manufacturing area.


  • Check and ensure compliance with the ADC quality system, good manufacturing practice and regulatory requirements.


  • Liaise, as and when required, with other Departments.


  • Assist in projects to enhance the effectiveness and efficiency of the quality system and product quality.


  • Ensure compliance with EHS regulations and Abbott standards by adhering to EHS systems, programmes and procedures, being accountable for the Health & Safety of themselves and others and by highlighting where improvements to EHS performance can be made.


  • Check and complete own training records/status in a timely manner and performs functions in a manner that is compliant with the ETMS/ISO training system.


  • Adhere to all company policies and procedures and training requirements.


  • Maintain a high standard of housekeeping and ensure that all areas are clean and tidy in line with 5S principles.
