Full Job Description
We are currently recruiting for an activity coordinator/organiser for our lively residential care home in the heart of Winterbourne where no two days are the same! This is a part-time, weekend position - 12 hours per week, working during the daytime.
We are looking for someone who would be an asset to our team fun, compassionate, can do personality with the ability to work alone and as part of a team, encouraging others to take part and have a go. You would need to have some organisational skills and be able to plan a wide variety of activities based on the individual needs of our residents. - "My thoughts are with any activities role you need to be creative, passionate & dedicated to the position. The activities role is such a rewarding position as we get to enrich residents lives every day by bringing fun, meaningful structured activities into there day to day living within the home. You need to be able to promote happiness and opportunities for residents to express themselves.
- Your face shall be the face that the residents love to see every morning, with an empathetic, happy demeanour to start there day & in return you see the happiness and smiles that you have brought to there lives through this role.
- You need to be super organised, a multitasker , accurate with all recording & adaptable."
