Weekend Machine Operator

Founded in 1985 we are a very well established ready meal business and are looking to recruit a Machine Operator to join our Company based in Doncaster working Saturdays & Sundays 06.00 am to 18.00 pm (option available to work additional hours during the week).,

• Operating the machinery used for producing packaging material


• Starting up and stopping the machine as necessary, including refilling packaging material


• Performing routine checks to ensure that the machine is in an operable state


• Carrying out preventative maintenance on the machine


• Inspecting final products


• Reporting faulty packaging or problems on the machine


• Completing all relevant documentation for the machine


• Ensuring the workplace is kept clean and tidy


• To be able to work on your own initiative as well as part of a team, for a motivated and ambitious approach to the role


• Responsibility for the health and safety of yourself and others who may be affected by your actions or omissions including the use of corrective PPE
  
  We are looking to recruit an enthusiastic and self-motivated Machine Operator to run an Injection Moulding Machine and a Pot Forming Machine.


You must have a strong understanding of Health and Safety processes and be able to meet daily targets and deadlines, as well as have an excellent attention to detail and a flexible approach to the working environment.
