Full Job Description

We are looking for a Weighbridge Operator to support our overall operation at Lower House Farm in Dordon. This role is responsible for providing an efficient and effective weighbridge operation, including associated administration, at the Transfer Station. This role involves liaising with drivers, contractors, trade waste producers and the public as well as accepting payments.

  • You will have the ability to understand instructions, carry them out, and have, or be prepared to develop, a general understanding of health and safety.
  • This role will be customer facing so excellent communication skills are essential.
  • Literate and numerate
  • Ability to use a computer including e-mails and spreadsheet documents such as Excel, The Fluency Duty is outlined in the Code of Practice on the English language requirements for public sector workers. The Fluency Duty for this role is Required. You must be able to speak and provide advice in accurate spoken English to the public.
