Full Job Description
The Welcome Points within the Halls of Residence are responsible for delivering professional and high-quality support to the student journey throughout their time at the University of Nottingham by enhancing their experience through the provision of excellent customer services. The Welcome Point Reception Team provide the first point of contact for students, contractors, colleagues, visitors and building users.
Working across our University Park and Jubilee campuses you will have a flexible and proactive approach to resolving problems and answering queries quickly and effectively. In addition to excellent problem-solving skills, the ability to remain calm under pressure you will have the ability to prioritise your workload in response to differing needs and deadlines of our varied customer base.
The successful candidate will be required to design and maintain databases, spreadsheets and filing systems. You will also provide administrative support to the Hall Management team including typing letters and emails, producing purchase orders and managing the key and access card stock throughout the day.
Candidates should have relevant vocational qualifications NVQ Level 2/3 or equivalent with some relevant experience or have substantial work experience gained in an administration role within a similar fast-paced customer facing environment., Disability Confident

The post is offered on a permanent contract. Hours of work are full time, 36.25 per week, 5 days out of 7 to be arranged to include weekends between 8.00am and 6.00pm. (This will include University and Public Holidays on a rota basis) Flexibility will be required. Job share arrangements may be considered.
