Full Job Description

We are currently looking to recruit 1 x Experienced Welder/Fabricator to join our team based in the West of Newcastle.,

  • You will be responsible for using various tools and techniques to weld, fabricate, and assemble metal components.
  • MIG Welding
  • Complete fabrication tasks as outlined by production team leader.
  • Read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints and diagrams.
  • Perform basic math calculations to measure and mark materials
  • Maintaining stock of fabricated components.
  • Working to tolerances set out in the instructions.
  • Ensure work areas are kept tidy and equipment is maintained.
  • Demonstrate the ability to work to the quality standards set by company.
  • Be capable of working independently and operate effectively within a team.
  • Expected to be flexible and demonstrate willingness to undertake training in other areas of production line.
  • Demonstrate good health and safety practice.

    This is a hands-on role that requires strong mechanical knowledge and the ability to work with power tools, hand tools, and sheet metals., Have previous Fabricating experience
  • Must have MIG Welding experience
  • Be able to read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints
  • Be able to measure , cut, bend, grind and finish off metal products
  • Strong mechanical knowledge and understanding of sheet metal
  • Basic math skills for measurements and calculations
  • Have experience to quality check finished products.
