This role as a Wellbeing and Activities Coordinator at Avery Healthcare's Silvermere Care Home in Cobham, Surrey is an opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of older residents by providing engaging and stimulating activities to support their physical, psychological, and social well-being. The successful candidate will need to have prior experience working with older people in a residential or nursing setting and a commitment to promoting privacy, dignity, independence, choice, rights, and fulfilment for all residents., As the Wellbeing and Activities Coordinator, you will be responsible for planning and delivering a wide range of activities to engage and stimulate the residents. This includes identifying residents' life histories, needs, and preferences, and using this information to develop detailed life stories and tailored activity plans. You will also be arranging events, outings, and encouraging staff, relatives, and visitors to get involved. Maintaining a safe and positive environment is key, as is contributing to the professional image of the care home.
