Full Job Description
As a Wellbeing Advisor, you will help to support vulnerable people to live independently. You will:
- Be part of delivering a mental health helpline which takes around 6,000 calls per month
- Provide a range of wellbeing checks; either face to face (full driving licence required - pool vehicle supplied as needed) or over the phone, including medication prompts, emotional support and reassurance, contacting next of kin and emergency services
- Help to arrange property maintenance repairs
- Monitor CCTV and assistive technology solutions, which includes critical equipment such as fall detectors or smoke and door sensors
- Support colleagues with safeguarding concerns.

Please note that all successful applicants will need to complete an enhanced DBS check which NCHA will pay for.
We need someone who can use their experience working or caring for vulnerable people to good use. Someone who can work in a fast paced service, but can remain calm, professional and react effectively and efficiently to our most vulnerable customers.
You will have experience of working in a customer facing team environment ideally, and have experience of care or supporting vulnerable people. You will also be educated to NVQ level 2 or equivalent in Telecare, Care, Housing, Customer Service, Business Administration, ITC, or be able to demonstrate relevant work experience.

This is a 24hr service so you will be required to work on rota basis
35 hours over 4 days each week.
Our shift patterns are 6am-3:15pm, 1:15pm-10:30pm and 9pm-6:15am

Please note that while this role is currently based in Bulwell, Nottingham, we are very excited to be moving to our brand new purpose build head office in Clifton, Nottingham from November 2024.
