Join us at Wiltshire College & University Centre as a Wellbeing Advisor, where you'll be a crucial part of our mission to nurture student success and holistic development. As a Wellbeing Advisor, you will help students navigate personal, social, health, and welfare challenges through meaningful interactions, workshops, and campus-wide initiatives. Wellbeing Advisor - Key Responsibilities: Individual & Group Support

  • Provide one-to-one guidance on mental health and wellbeing.
  • Deliver engaging workshops (e.g., mindfulness, emotional resilience).
  • Host events to raise awareness of mental health and wellbeing issues.
  • Collaboration & Referral
  • Work closely with Student Support & Safeguarding (SS&S) teams to ensure students are connected to resources for issues like homelessness, counselling, and healthcare.
  • Resource Development
  • Partner with Counsellors and SS&S to maintain an up-to-date database of external support services.
  • Create dynamic resources to support the college's pastoral care framework.
  • Crisis Management & Safeguarding
  • Be a key contributor to critical incident responses, supporting students during crises.
  • Collaborate with Tutorial and Safeguarding colleagues to enhance tutorial programmes.
  • Service Quality & Engagement
  • Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of student wellbeing services.
  • Participate in cross-college events, providing tailored wellbeing support and training.

    A deep understanding of mental health and wellbeing challenges faced by students.
  • Proven experience in delivering wellbeing interventions, workshops, or similar activities.
  • Exceptional communication and organisational skills.
  • A commitment to safeguarding and fostering an inclusive, supportive environment.
