Full Job Description

  • A new opportunity has arisen for a Wellbeing Assistant (30 hours per week) to support the Wellbeing Lead at Maurice House, Broadstairs.

  • To assist with the co-ordination of recreational activities and functions for Residents both within and outside the Home, which will promote the physical, intellectual and social stimulation of the Resident.

  • You will promote independence with freedom of choice and assist and motivate residents to maximise their potential.

    You should have experience of arranging and assisting with activities and events for a similar client group and be prepared to work with large groups, small groups and individuals.

  • A recognised qualification in activities is desirable and experience in a care environment would be an advantage.

  • You should experience dealing with Dementia residents., Wellbeing Assistant: 1 year (required)
