Full Job Description

Location: Hybrid role of coaching sessions out within East Surrey, homeworking, and central office in Reigate.

We are looking for a Wellbeing coach to support our outreach service across East Surrey to support 1.1 sessions and group sessions. This is an ideal opportunity for someone with experience of supporting Autistic people with mental health needs who either have coaching skills or are prepared to train to be a coach. You will need to be able to drive and have access to a vehicle due to the key locations of the geographical areas of Surrey required. The role is Monday - Saturday within the hours of 8am-7pm.

You will need to have a passion for empowering people to lead an aspiring life. You will need to be kind, patient, resilient, compassionate, self manging, organised and believe strongly in collaborative working. The role can be tough, but the rewards outweigh.

You will need to be adaptable, flexible, and be able to support our members of the service to gain back their independence through empowerment, active support, positive risk-taking and out of the box thinking. Autistic people with mental health needs often find it difficult to access appropriate services and are one of the highest groups of individuals committing suicide. The coach's service is looking at prevention of crisis and the need for hospital admissions.
