Full Job Description

Local Care Direct is a non-profit Social Enterprise operating 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year, to provide various primary and urgent health care services across West Yorkshire., The Wellbeing and Engagement Manager will be responsible for:

Supporting delivery of the LCD People strategy by leading our employee engagement and wellbeing initiatives.

Working alongside subject matter experts, to deliver a comprehensive EDI strategy across LCD, in line with organisational values and HR policy and processes.

Developing LCDs values and culture work.

Producing communications stories and pieces to be published via internal communication channels to promote engagement, EDI and wellbeing activities.

Supporting with strategic external communications.

Ensuring that related people policies and processes are developed, implemented and reviewed.

Ensuring the provision of professional expertise and knowledge in support of efficient and effective delivery of business plans and performance.

Ensuring that key data is gathered, analysed and reported.

Over the years, we have developed a broad range of services for patients across Yorkshire and the Humber including: a centralised contact centre, GP out of hours services, Urgent Treatment Centres, walk-in facilities, a dental assessment and booking service, as well as a number of bespoke services for our NHS clients.
