Full Job Description

  • Unit liaison acting as spokesperson / unit representative.
  • To be the unit contact point for all things relating to the Philips Clinical Information System (ICCA)
  • To facilitate development of the system with respect to the unit's requirements through information gathering and specification
  • Troubleshooting and problem resolution of issues arising from the day-to-day operational running of the Philips Clinical Information System (ICCA) within the unit
  • Organisation and provision of training for staff including Nurses and Multi-Disciplinary Team members of GICU.
  • Creation of unit specific documentation in support of the Philips Clinical Information System (ICCA).
  • Develop an appreciation of basic configuration of the Philips Clinical Information System (ICCA)
  • The role provides an excellent opportunity for development and the ability to make a positive difference to the use of health Informatics in the Critical Care unit. The successful candidate will be flexible, well organised, have excellent communication / listening skills. A desire to make a real difference in improving workflow & workload, whilst maintaining a focus upon the operational needs of the Clinical Information System in the unit is essential.

    An exciting opportunity has arisen in Weston Intensive Care Unit (WICU) for a Clinical Information System Team (CIS) Unit lead. This is a 12 month Fixed-Term post (Maternity Cover) at 0.2 WTE / 7.5 hours per week (predominantly on Mondays).
