Full Job Description

You will provide an excellent front of house services to patients and visitors attending the hospital dealing with Urgent Treatment Centre patients, general enquiries from the public and booking outpatient appointments.
You will work as part of the Medical Records team and to provide cover and support where necessary.
The Health Records Team comprises of several different roles who work together to ensure we deliver an excellent administration service for patients and clinicians.

We have a great opportunity for an enthusiastic, highly motivated team member to work in the Health Records Team as a Receptionist at Whitworth Hospital.
The role is for 24.5 hours a week, working as part of a team of 3 on reception. The role involves booking in patients attending the Urgent Treatment Centre, processing all outpatients and community podiatry patients attending the hospital.
In addition you must be able to prioritise your daily workload and provide efficient and reliable administrative support.
We require an enthusiastic individual who is organised, methodical and able to use their own initiative.
You should have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, good computer skills and be flexible.
