Full Job Description

The Job: To deliver the Wilder Wellbeing Programmes as part of our growing Green Social Prescribing offer at Kent Wildlife Trust, enabling programme attendees to make a meaningful connection with nature in order to aid their social, physical, mental health and wellbeing. You may also be interested in the advertised Education and Events tutor role, as advertised on our jobs page, which involves delivering education and events for Kent Wildlife Trust. You: You will play a key part in ensuring that the programme delivery remains at a high standard offering engaging activities, and providing a safe environment for participants through empathy and compassion. You will have a responsible

and reliable attitude, and confidently be able to run sessions independently. You will be willing to travel throughout Kent, and have access to your own mode of transport. You will be able to demonstrate skills and experience such as:

  • Experience of running activities of a similar nature, within the community engagement or social prescribing sector.
  • An awareness of physical and mental health conditions and accessibility needs.
  • Able to adapt sessions to work in an inclusive manner.
  • Health and Safety procedures & risk assessments, especially with regard to working with vulnerable adults.
  • The ability to work as part of a team but also independently to deliver programmes.
