Full Job Description
Due to the sensitive nature of this role you will be required to have DV (Developed Vetting) level Security Clearance (https://www.gov.uk/government/publications/united-kingdom-security-vetting-clearance-levels/national-security-vetting-clearance-levels). An allowance of 5k per annum will be payable monthly while you hold this DV and continue to work in a role that requires that level of security clearance. The terms of this allowance will be made available if you are successful in being recruited into this role. - Provide the technical direction for the build, delivery and maintenance of world class secure platforms, including Active Directory and Virtual Desktop components
- Be hands on in all aspects of the design, build and deployment of customer facing systems.
- Employ and adapt industry-leading techniques and best practices to suit customer challenges
- Work within existing monitoring, observability and security frameworks to achieve our customer's requirements You'll definitely:
- Have experience integrating systems, networks or software in on-premise environments
- Have deep experience in deploying, supporting and patching Windows servers including AD, DNS and ADCS
- Have knowledge and hands-on experience of deploying and maintaining virtual desktop infrastructures such as Citrix VDA
- Be a collaborative partner, developing great working relationships with stakeholders, sharing knowledge and collaborating
- Contribute to a high-performance culture, empowering others through coaching and development using modern development methodologies You might even
- Have knowledge of DevOps methodologies and Infrastructure as Code tools such as Ansible or Puppet
- Have experience deploying and managing Microsoft SQL Server
- Have managed endpoint protection technologies such as Trellix ePO
- Have some exposure to Chocolatey and packaging for offline environments
- Be comfortable coordinating and prioritising activities according to internal and external requirements, responding positively to challenges, using your technical expertise to support you and those around you
