Using Airbus methods and tools, including advanced FE models, to predict the behaviour of the test specimen;

Correlating test results with predictions and drawing conclusions for the next phase of testing, and beyond;

Working with the results of novel instrumentation techniques to gain understanding of the behavior of the wing and feeding that learning into future projects.

Studying towards a degree in Aerospace Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or equivalent;

An interest in the development of composite and metallic aircraft structures, particularly the structural analysis of those structures;

A proactive team player who is able to listen, understand and communicate in an open and trusting environment;

An exciting opportunity to work in the Airbus Wing Research & Technology (R&T) Engineering team, based in Filton, UK.
