Join our UKCS - Balfour Beatty Living Places team as a Winter Maintenance Driver-Manby and you'll be part of it. What you'll be doing Required to take part in the Winter Service Delivery, ensuring the highway is salted in preparation for cold/icy conditions keeping the highway safe for general users, as well as the removal of snow in such conditions. All works undertaken by the Winter Maintenance Operative / Driver must be completed to the required Health, Safety and Quality standards. You will be required to be available on a standby rota every other week as a minimum. Technical / Operations

  • Ensure that all Daily vehicle Checks are undertaken and reported.
  • Conduct winter gritting activities against required quality standards.
  • Perform driving activities to assigned Winter Maintenance Routes.
  • Ensure the work is completed right first time.
