  • Work closely with the Production and Merchandising teams on product strategy, development, and design.

    This is an exciting opportunity to join our established east London-based fashion supplier. We work with major Highstreet brands, and we are looking for a talented trend-focused Women's Fashion Designer to join the team. The role of a Women's Fashion Designer would include creating graphics for garments and also developing shapes and fabrications. We are looking for someone who can be forward-facing with clients and is confident and organized in their work. The successful applicant will work alongside a small team of other designers and will be able to help manage the workload and maintain/grow the relationships with the buyers. Our main account is Urban Outfitters, so a strong knowledge of up-to-date fashion trends and a strong insight into this customer in particular would be beneficial. Suitable applicants will be creative and able to turn designs around fast.,
  • At least 2 year's industry experience in a design role.
  • Ability to translate fashion trends into commercial designs.
  • Demonstrable commercial understanding of print design for the high street.
  • Strong team player who can initiate and maintain relationships with key business partners, e.g. designers, buyers and suppliers.
  • Strong illustration skills.
  • Excellent organisation skills and communication skills needed.
  • Excellent time management with the ability to prioritise workload accordingly
  • Have the ability to communicate with partners in a wide variety of countries with clarity and precision.
  • Enthusiastic, savvy and able to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to communicate effectively at all levels.
  • Advanced Illustrator and Photoshop skills
  • An interest in the retail industry and product development.
  • Ideally, completed Fashion / Design / Illustration related studies., I have at least 2 year's industry experience in a design role.
