Full Job Description
- Assist with creating new design concepts daily and collate these to present to the Lead Designers/Buying Team for review
- Create detailed CADs and tech-packs for team and supplier use
- Create and regularly update linesheets per collection
- Attend fit sessions on new development when necessary and make comments/adjustments accordingly
- Support in communicating with Suppliers and Manufacturers to track developments, implement design adjustments and sizing amendments
- Assist with curating linesheets for B2B presentation
- Assist with offering new product lines on a B2B basis with retail partners
- Produce ideas for new product lines and product expansion
- Assist with collecting, understanding, and suggesting new fabrics and manufacturing techniques
- Create trend boards and provide trend forecasts on a regular basis, highlighting key styles, vintage references and design details
- Create relevant inspiration boards as and when needed
- Assist with repeat pattern and print developments
- Sort and log samples, swatches, and fabrics in an organised manner
- Work under time constraints and to meet deadlines, with the passion and ability to work reactively to the business needs as and when these arise

- A minimum of a completed Fashion Design Degree at 2:1 or above
- Experience in a womenswear or menswear design role previously is also great, but not required to apply
- Experience with Adobe Creative Suite
- The ability to work on-site at our office HQ (CH5)
- Evidence and examples of a strong design portfolio
- A creative flair with a unique vision and original ideas
- Excellent knowledge of the brand, the customer and our signature aesthetic
- A keen eye for fashion and style in day-to-day life, with ideally an interest in Vintage clothing
- A good knowledge of manufacturing processes
- A good knowledge of fabrics and trims
- A can-do attitude and the ability to take initiative independently
- The ability to blend and complete tasks within a team, working together with colleagues to give the best work output possible
- Confidence to develop, present and back your ideas to a group or team, yet finds feedback constructive to develop ideas further
- Effective project management skills and the ability to work on different projects simultaneously
- Strong organisational skills and the ability to work well under pressure/in time-sensitive situations

Sisters & Seekers is searching for a talented, super creative Womenswear Design Assistant with a keen interest in fashion in their day-to-day life and a flair for trend-spotting ahead of the curve.to join our growing Product & Design Team. This position is a great entry-level role for a graduate, but it could also be filled by a candidate with some experience in a similar position.
This role is office based at our HQ near Chester (CH5), working amongst a creative and visionary team, all striving towards taking the brand to the next level.
