Womenswear Design Assistant

+ Collaborate and communicate effectively within the ready-to-wear design team and across all departments.
+ Accurately translate garment construction into flat technical drawings and detailed specification sheets.
+ Work closely with the print team to prepare artworks and coordinate with the fabric team to ensure design accuracy.
+ Manage your time and workload efficiently, following the direction of the Design Manager-Womenswear, Denim & Felpa.
+ Maintain clear communication with the senior design team, especially while they are traveling abroad, such as in Milan.
+ Conduct research to support the design process, using resources like magazines, libraries, galleries, and online platforms.
+ Contribute design ideas while considering input from the Merchandising team to maintain a commercial focus.
+ Assist with various tasks, including mood board preparation, sketch revisions, fitting notes, and supporting on photoshoots.
+ Prepare tech packs and artwork for sampling and production.

+ Qualifications in Design, Fashion, or a related field.
+ Solid understanding of garment construction, fabrics, and print techniques.
+ Experience designing both graphics and garments.
+ Ability to work well within a team environment.
+ Experience in denim and casualwear design is an advantage.
+ Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, particularly Illustrator and Photoshop for technical drawings and renderings.
+ Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite.
+ 1-2 years experience.
