Work Based Learning Tutor - Construction and the Built Environment

The purpose of this role is to manage and be responsible for a caseload of work-based learners, taking them on a successful and exciting journey to achieve their planned learning programme within the targeted timeframe.

You be involved in implementing continuous improvement strategies and measures to meet the demands of employers in providing a high-quality teaching and learning experience. The role will require you to hold or be work willing to work towards the TAQA Assessor qualification with The Sheffield College.,

• Liaise effectively between College staff, employers and Learners to ensure the achievement of a full work based programme.


• Initial assessment, development and tracking and monitoring of individual learning plans,


• Ensuring an outstanding service is delivered to learners and employers.


• Promote the take up of apprenticeships, work based programmes and commercial courses and proactively sustain and develop the work based business of the College.
  
  TAQA Assessor qualification or willingness to work towards


• Ability to innovate and adapt to changing educational and industry landscapes


• Working knowledge of Government Funded Training Programmes
