Full Job Description
We're seeking a Work Placement Coordinator to play a pivotal role in connecting our Health, Care, and Early Years students with enriching vocational experiences. This role is 25 hours per week, term-time only, offering a great work-life balance. You'll work closely with academic staff to:
- Arrange and manage work placements tailored to students' course requirements.
- Monitor student progress, ensuring a positive and productive placement experience.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with local employers, creating lasting partnerships.
- Organise internal work experience opportunities within the College.
- Carry out workplace assessments and observations of learners.
- Ensure all necessary Health and Safety checks and consent forms are completed before placements.
- Report on attendance, punctuality, and behaviour of students during placements.
