Full Job Description

The Workday Payroll Consultant is responsible for configuring and optimizing the payroll processing system within Workday. This role ensures that payroll processes are compliant, efficient, and tailored to client-specific requirements., Payroll System Implementation: Lead the implementation and customization of Workday Payroll, ensuring all payroll processes are aligned with local compliance standards.
Configuration: Configure payroll rules, earnings, deductions, tax tables, and compliance reporting within the Workday Payroll module.
Client Consultation: Work closely with HR and payroll teams to understand their payroll needs and provide tailored solutions.
Compliance and Reporting: Ensure payroll systems comply with local tax regulations and generate required payroll reports.
Data Integration: Assist with integrating payroll data between Workday and other external systems like time tracking or benefits systems.
Training: Train payroll teams on the use of Workday Payroll and ensure a smooth transition to the new system.

Skills and Qualifications: Proven experience in implementing Workday Payroll, including deep knowledge of payroll regulations and processes. Workday Payroll certification preferred. Strong understanding of payroll tax regulations, compliance, and reporting. Analytical skills for resolving payroll issues and ensuring data accuracy. Ability to work with cross-functional teams and manage multiple projects.
