Full Job Description
The team also works with contract management and funding allocation, data reporting and returns. They handle requests for bespoke activities and courses with our NHS Trusts whilst liaising with internal and external stakeholders, ensuring they are providing excellent customer service.
The new CPD Hub requires maintenance of a suite of bespoke tools which the team manage independently. They work closely with the marketing team to produce and distribute marketing materials to prospective students and Trusts. There are various committees and boards that they are involved with as well as student governance.
The post holder will be responsible for contributing to the smooth running of the CPPD application process by communicating with relevant stakeholders, keeping excellent records, troubleshooting matters arising and taking a proactive approach at problem-solving. This will involve an advanced understanding of the IT systems used within the team and the ability to utilise these to provide exceptional service.
The post holder will be a proactive, team-oriented person who enjoys taking on a variety of projects and communicating with stakeholders both internal to the university and external (i.e. students, healthcare employers and funding institutions). They will be very IT-focussed with excellent communication skills and the ability to analyse problems and and identify potential solutions.

The Workforce Development Team represents a specialist area of activity within the School of Health Sciences. The team works with healthcare providers (NHS and private sector) to deliver quality training in individual modules (known as CPD study) or non-accredited study days (known as City Health).
