Full Job Description

We are looking to appoint a Workforce Officer within the People and OD Directorate who will support the delivery of a professional, expert and specialist HR service to the Trust. The successful candidate will have a focus on providing high-quality and pro-active operational workforce support service to managers and staff within the Trust.,

  • Provide a comprehensive high quality customer service to staff and managers in the Trust in relation to the provision of advice and guidance on workforce queries, policies and procedures and terms and conditions of employment.
  • Respond to basic operational workforce queries using a range of different methods.
  • Develop and maintain partnerships and effective working relationships across the Trust and work in conjunction with the Trust's payroll and recruitment service to deliver a seamless service to our stakeholders.
  • Provide high-quality Workforce administration support to the Operational HR team.
  • Support managers with the proactive management of sickness absence queries and cases.
  • Ensure the completion of accurate and timely variations to contracts.
  • Undertake ad hoc project work as requested by the Senior Workforce Advisor and Workforce and Employee Relations Manager.
