If it works for the service, we will do our best to make it work for you., The postholder will work closely with the Head of Supply and have responsibility for:
+ Supporting diagnosis of workforce supply issues across the health and care system including, but not limited to, supply pipelines, recruitment, retention and role utilisation.
+ Delivery of the supply portfolio which is multi-professional and includes domestic and international supply, medical expansion, agency and temporary staffing.
+ Managing a portfolio of projects or supply strategies, whilst ensuring that cross cutting issues relating to workforce are understood and researched
+ Working with national and regional innovation and commissioning teams to develop and deliver realistic workforce change programmes and education innovation and commissioning plans, providing advice and oversight to elements of the plan relevant to supply improvement., We are looking for suitable applicants with a track record of managing and resolving complex workforce issues in large organisations and working with senior system leaders to deliver workforce improvement programmes.
You will need experience of leading complex improvement initiatives, developing strategies and plans, tracking and ensuring delivery. You will be required to report on the delivery of the supply programme of work to director level, and to work with a range of internal and external stakeholders.
As Workforce Supply Lead you will personally lead, support and contribute to formal negotiations with senior level internal and external stakeholders, and advise on innovative opportunities and support all departments in their strategies and programmes to maximise service benefits.
