Full Job Description

As Workforce Supply Officer, the post holder will work as part of a dynamic team in delivering an effective workforce supply strategy for the East of England to grow our current and future multi-professional workforce through improved recruitment and retention initiatives, and maximising role utilisation in line with NHS Long Term Plan and regional priorities. The post holder will be required to work across the Workforce Supply Team to ensure that the programme of work is planned effectively and assist in its successful delivery. The post holder will be responsible for supporting the team with a variety of workstreams such as risk and issue management, supporting the production of returns, reports, and briefings, supporting budgets and financial activities, and general day to day administrative duties. The core function of this role is to provide operational coordination to the supply improvement programme, working with other key functions. The supply portfolio will include international and domestic supply, is multi-professional and includes temporary and agency staffing and reservists. The postholder may be expected to carry out other appropriate delegated duties as required.,

  • Undertake information/project analysis.
  • Analyse and report on data and monitor the processing of data and information.
  • Develop and maintain databases required for the role and/or department programme
  • Maintain administrative and information resources.
  • Support implementation of project, service, initiative through timely and relevant information analysis and administrative support, in accordance with the agreed priorities of the team.
  • Plan and organise meetings or events and assist in the diary management requirements of individuals in connection with portfolio of work.
  • Maintain a good knowledge of emerging policies from government departments, the organisation in defining the strategy, in order to support delivery of the NHS Long Term Workforce Plan.
  • Maintain constructive relationships with a broad range of stakeholders.
  • Work with members of the team to develop and implement project data collection systems that will provide accurate and timely data.
  • Communicate information and issues, including briefings and reports., NHS England hold a Sponsor Licence; this means that we may be able to sponsor you providing the Home Office requirements are met. To be eligible for sponsorship through the Skilled Worker route you'll usually need to be paid the 'standard' salary rate of at least £38,700 per year, or the 'going rate' for your job, whichever is higher.     The postholder will require excellent communication skills (internal and external), be highly organised and able to demonstrate a range of project coordination skills.
