Full Job Description

The role of Workforce Transformation Manager will be part of the Workforce Supply and Transformation function. The function brings together systems to facilitate improvement and innovation in workforce redesign, optimising the mix of skills and effectiveness through collaboration and partnership working with Integrated Care Systems.

The role will collaborate with stakeholders within the organisation and externally with Integrated Care Systems/Integrated Care Boards, educational institutions, and other essential partners. This collaboration aims to facilitate the strategic implementation of national and regional priorities, strategies and policies across the region and guarantee the achievement of the agreed results within the set deadlines. The person in this role will be required to work jointly with other leaders of workforce programs and subject matter experts at both regional and national levels.

The Workforce Transformation Manager will provide:o Dedicated support to workforce transformation projects,o Deliver a Workforce Transformation Programme that reflects Workforce, Training and Education Directorate and ICS workforce transformation priorities,o Lead projects that require to deliver innovative new approaches to education, training, workforce, and employment models., Assist the senior Workforce Transformation team in establishing and maintaining trusted relationships and influential networks with external, senior stakeholders under challenging conditions. This support is crucial for advancing ICS's local and regional workforce transformation goals, fostering partnerships, and ensuring that ICS programme delivery aligns with broader healthcare system priorities.

Working with senior external stakeholders on complex and contentious issues in a political environment relating to local workforce transformation priorities.
