This is an exciting opportunity for a dynamic individual to work in our Workforce Transformation team at the heart of our system wide approach to enabling the Ten Big Ambitions of West Yorkshire. The position will be supported by the team and focused on enabling the education, careers and health and well-being of our people. The Apprenticeship programme will be a key focus. You will help shape and support our clinical services and teams., To provide expertise and leadership across the workforce transformation team and key partners across health and social care to improve the health and wellbeing of local people, by reducing health inequalities, providing continuity of care and improving our services through workforce transformation.

The post holder will lead projects in the Workforce Transformation Team, working closely with the Head of Workforce Transformation in coordinating and working with wider partners to develop and deliver locally agreed plans and strategies.

To provide expertise and senior leadership in translating and implementing relevant national, regional, and local policy initiatives into workforce transformation work streams across the West Yorkshire Integrated system.

To hold a key role in the development of local strategic partnerships to ensure there are cost-effective education and training options aligned to system priorities for service development.

To be the day-to-day lead responsible for the implementation, development and co-ordination of agreed workforce transformation priority workstreams.

The post holder will be required to work flexibly across broader transformation workstreams as required, based on the review of local priorities.

The successful candidate will be able to tell us about their experience of transforming health and care services, and will be able to show results from the work they have done using project and programme management methodology. Knowledge of education, clinical expansion and current policy is important. Working with clinical leaders and front line teams will be essential to support the people working in health and care across West Yorkshire.
