Full Job Description

To deliver an exceptional customer experience for all internal and external customers visiting the Rolls-Royce Learning and Development Centre ensuring that all activity delivered is of the highest standard. Have a passion for creating an environment for everyone to thrive. Main duties

  • To lead and manage the Customer Support and Site Support teams to deliver a first-class service within the Rolls-Royce Learning & Development Centre
  • Deputise for the Operations Manager
  • Duty Management responsibility 06.30am - 18.30 (rota)
  • Ensure that all site activities are carried out effectively
  • To liaise with service providers to ensure delivery of a quality service, on time, to specification
  • To ensure customer requests are dealt with efficiently and effectively
  • Work to and periodically review a standard set of operating procedures
  • Support Emergency Evacuation procedures
  • Carry out the building HS&E daily inspection before the building opens ensuring all actions are tracked through to closure
  • Update the Site Manager and Site Log sheet throughout the day
  • Raise work requests through the Maximo system
  • Ensure all meeting room requests are completed in accordance with the SLA
  • Attend weekly service line meetings
  • Support with personal emergency evacuation plans (PEEPS) for less abled guests
  • Oversee all contractor activity to minimise impact on site operation
  • Raise accident and incident reports and track through to closure
  • Provide operational support to internal events
  • Provide operational support to ad-hoc out of hours events
  • Review customer feedback tracking remedial actions through to closure
  • Raise out of hours paperwork
  • Raise sprinkler/fire alarm isolation requests
  • Manage door access requests
  • Support with all internal and external audits
  • Maintain a key access list
  • Conduct site inductions

    A clear understanding of Health & Safety practices, IOSH certified
  • Customer orientated approach
  • Enthusiastic and conscientious
  • An understanding of Audio Visual and IT systems and the ability to explain this accurately to customers
  • Computer literate (Word, Excel, Outlook E-mail)
  • Clear, strong and confident communication skills
  • Team player with an enthusiastic attitude
  • To work efficiently and effectively in a team as well as individually
  • Able to work off their own initiative and with minimal direction
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • High attention to detail
