Full Job Description
- Champion the creation of exceptional customer and employee experiences by establishing high standards for customer service, safety, and engagement. Leverage data to continuously refine the workplace environment and exceed stakeholder expectations.
- Ensure efficiency, cost-effectiveness, and consistency across multiple sites while maintaining a focus on innovation and continuous improvement.
- Develop and manage workplace budgets (up to £10m), optimising costs, and ensuring adherence to financial targets.
- Influence key stakeholder relationships across the business, including HSSEW, People Team, Board Support and IT, ensuring seamless integration of workplace operations with broader company priorities.
- Lead relationships with key suppliers, ensuring the delivery of high-quality services within budget and to agreed KPIs.
- Maintain exceptionally high standards of building repair and condition, working in conjunction with the facilities team.
- Drive sustainability initiatives in the workplace, ensuring the spaces align with The Crown Estate's environmental policies, minimising operational impact.
- Ensure workplace operations comply with all legal, regulatory, and health and safety standards, managing associated risks across multiple locations.
- Mentor, and develop a high-performing team, fostering a culture of empowerment and professional growth, and managing cross-functional teams, including an outsourced service provider team.
- Lead workplace transformation initiatives, managing change across multiple locations while ensuring minimal disruption.
- Apply the principles established through the re-structure of the operating model: agility, empowerment, delegation, drive innovation and customer focus. Personal Requirements for the Role:
- Proven track record of managing multi-site operations, with a focus on flexible office environments, corporate real estate, or hospitality.
- Expertise in creating customer-centric environments that drive satisfaction and engagement across a diverse range of office users.

- Proven experience in leading diverse teams, including hybrid, remote or outsourced teams, with a focus on empowering employees and driving high performance.
- Demonstrated ability of driving a culture of continuous improvement and innovation in workplace operations.
- Knowledge of sustainability practices and experience in driving environmental and social governance (ESG) initiatives
- Strong knowledge of workplace legalities, health and safety regulations, and industry standards, with proven experience managing compliance and minimising operational risks.
- Proven ability to build and maintain strong relationships with senior leadership, key internal teams, Suppliers and external partners, ensuring alignment with strategic objectives and effective collaboration.
- Basic understanding of M&E services is desirable
- Well-organised problem solver, able to foresee operational and customer challenges in advance
- Capable of driving sustainability, health & wellbeing and responsible business practices.
- An inherent sense of integrity and professionalism, capable of thriving in ambiguous situations and flexible to adapt to an evolving organisational structure.
