Join our Regional Civils Team team as a Works Manager on our Devonport Dockyard Project and you'll deliver complex work that really matters to our business, and the world around you. As a Civils Works Manager you will provide management, leadership and control of a multi-disciplinary team comprising General Foremen, Section Foremen, Junior Foremen and Gangers. What you'll be doing As a Works Manager you will:

  • Communicate the requirements of a safe system of work to ensure that these are
  • followed accurately by the site team
  • Able to work on own initiative and seek out opportunities in line with level of responsibility
  • Understands Protocol with regard to Accident and Incident investigation
  • Experienced in leading Safety & Environment Tours
  • Experienced in planning shifts in line with EU regulations and section 61

    You will have the following:
  • Experience of working in similar role on a Civil Engineering/Construction Project
  • Be able to clearly communicate the requirements of a safe system of work to ensure that these are followed accurately
  • Capability of taking ownership of tasks and communicating outcomes
  • Strong work ethic with flexibility to work unsociable hours/nights
  • Be able to work on own initiative and seek out opportunities in line with level of responsibility
  • Hold a current driving licence and CSCS Card.
