Workshop Technician, Hook

Joining the busy and friendly team at our workshop in Hook, you will inspect, repair and service vehicles / plant and prepare vehicles for MOT in accordance with HTM and manufacturers' recommendations., We are a Disability Confident Employer - committed to ensuring that our recruitment and selection process is inclusive and accessible.

You will be required to work on your own and as part of a team on all types of vehicles and plant, diagnose and repair faults and, as required, participate in the County Council's emergency and winter maintenance operations. With a minimum qualification of City and Guilds AVCE, NVQ level 3 or experience in similar role you will, on occasion, deal directly with customers.

Potential Additional Earnings:

• £3,000 annual Market Supplement for Level 3 qualified Technicians, subject to conditions.
• £2,000 additional annual Market Supplement available for those holding an automotive industry recognised Level 4 Advanced Vehicle Diagnostics qualification (Master Technician level), subject to conditions.
• £3,000 OTE additional earnings during winter season (October to April) subject to standby Rota participation and callouts, subject to conditions.
