Full Job Description

We'll need you to support our Workspace Facilities Manager, navigate the course, keeping us steady whatever the weather ensuring our workspaces are thriving environments that are Safe, Compliant, Inclusive, Inspiring, Accessible and function effectively. All greatly contributing to the part our workspaces play in delivering effortless customer experiences You'll want to work collaboratively, your communication skills shining through as you circumnavigate our fleet of workspaces making sure everything is Shipshape and Bristol fashion, gaining respect from all levels of our fleet and external partners along the way. You'll be looking for a role where you can showcase your attention to detail and you're proactive with great attention to detail. You'll be visible, with the flexibility to support wherever you're needed, so that diving licence of yours is essential to the role. A few key points from our role profile:

  • Carry out minor repairs to both building and equipment to keep things functioning until contractors or internal providers can deal with the issues.
  • Liaise with external companies to assist with the response to emergency calls out of hours e.g. liaising with suppliers to ensure urgent attendance.
  • Act as one of the principle key holders for Futures House, attending emergency call outs as required.
  • Establish and maintain excellent working relationships with Futures House tenants and uphold required standards of tenancy agreements and lease requirements.
  • Maintain all legislative registers, including fire, first aid, emergency lighting, and other items, in line with relevant guidelines and industry best practice. This will also include arranging fire drills and liaising with tenants of Futures House as appropriate.
  • Ensure all building services, plant and equipment are tested and maintained in accordance with all relevant compliance and Health & Safety guidelines and requirements and all planned and reactive maintenance is carried out within the allocated timeframe.
  • Promote and represent the Group positively, providing a proactive customer service; based on an understanding of customer demands, their relationship with the organisation and promoting our services.
