Full Job Description

The purpose of the role is to advise and support the Deputy Director of Capital Projects, and others within the Capital Projects and External commission teams, and to take responsibility for the coordination,
management, and delivery of aspects of Capital projects to ensure objectives are achieved in terms of specific performance, time, cost and quality. Undertaking the role of Senior Project Manager on Capital schemes.

RFLPS are seeking a highly-motivated, organised and capable individual to act as Senior Project Manager within the Capital Projects team.

SupportandguidetheProgrammeManagerinthemanagementofcapitalprojectswithintheestateandtoprovidethemostpracticalandeconomic solutionsfordesign,procurement,construction,management,commissioningandmaintenanceofthedevelopment.EnsurethattheProgrammeManagerhastherightinformationandknowledgeattherighttimetoexerciseauthorityproperly

Responsible for the delivery and coordination of the capital developments in relation to the business case. Providing contractual knowledge (NEC and JCT), and management of the contractor, consultants and the internal team.

Supportandinputintothedevelopmentofcorporatecapitalprojectpoliciesthat informtheprocessforprocuringlargescaleworkprogrammes.

Managestaff, consultantsandcontractorsasprojectsdevelop,thiswillincludetherecruitment, selection,appraisalandperformancemanagementof.

Developarobustandeffectiveinternalprojectmanagementandcommunication structurewiththeclinicalandoperationalteamsandaninformationmanagementandcontrolsystemthatensuresallpartieshavetimelyaccesstoallinformationrelevanttotheirtasksandtheprojectsobjectivesandstatus.
