From 4 April 2024 overseas workers requiring a general Skilled Worker Visa (such as data analysts, IT and finance professionals, etc) but sponsored by an NHS organisation will need to meet the new salary threshold of £38,700. In addition, applications to the Health and Care Visa route for those occupations paid by NHS bands that are on the immigration salary, a list of skilled jobs which have lower salary requirements, will need to meet the national pay scale for their role or the new minimum salary threshold of £23,200 (whichever is higher). We are thrilled to announce that we have vacancies for motivated and passionate nurses to join us at our Wound Healing Service Team in Telford and Shropshire.
Our team is professional, skilled, friendly and supportive and we prioritise safety while delivering high quality, holistic, evidence based wound care to our patients.
By joining our supportive and dedicated team you will have the opportunity to develop skills and knowledge of wound healing to provide optimum care for patients with a wide variety of wounds.
There will be training provided to enhance your skills to enable you to work as an independent clinician providing high quality patient care, as well as opportunities for further academic learning and support for your career development.

+ Assessing, planning, implementing and evaluating wound care for patients.
+ Provide a plan of care using trust policies and pathways for guidance whilst utilising local formularies.
+ Provide holistic assessment of patients needs making onward referrals where required.
+ Ensure safeguarding needs are met and escalate where indicated and ensuring IPC policies and protocols are followed ensuring ongoing patient safety.
+ Support junior staff and student in achieving their learning outcomes.
+ Liaise with senior nurse, Tissue Viability, GP's, and wider MDT where required.
+ Participate in audits to ensure ongoing quality and improvement within the service.
+ Participate in ordering of clinic stock and dressing supplies, ensuring stock rotation to avoid waste of resources.
+ Support senior nurse and cover when needed.
