Yard Operative

Job Title: Cleaner
Rate of Pay: £12.25 per hour

In your new role as a yard operative you will ensure equipment is kept clean, well maintained and in safe working order and meeting all agreed SLAs. Build your knowledge and perception of the designated working area, when the work needs to be carried out and all cleaning equipment and chemicals used on the premises while following Health and Safety requirements. You will need to undertake successfully all training required to deliver the role. You would be required to work within a team and can work under their own initiative, to build positive and productive working relationships with all customers, delivery excellent customer service and seeking ways to continuously improve and exceed expectations.

In order to be successful in this role you must have the ability to communicate and read basic English, previous cleaning experience is desirable but not essential and have a flexible approach to the role. • Use of equipment such as Balers, Compactors, Buggies, Forklift, Leaf blower, Road sweeper, Scrubber dryer.


• Maintenance of the yard space.


• Assistance with stock taking.


• Complete daily inspection reports.


• Compliance to Health and Safety demand.


• control for equipment.


• Reporting any issue.


• Working closely with management team
