Yard Operative

·The successful candidate will assist in the running, maintenance and housekeeping of the site
·To help ensure the plant is maintained and operational.
·To operate the plant in a safe and efficient manner, using the correct Personal Protective Equipment and working within the Standard Operating Procedures.
·To help ensure the site is kept in a clean, tidy and organised condition.
·To help ensure that all site activities are carried out in full compliance with the Company's S.H.E. policies and all Health, Safety and Environmental legislation and regulations in order that the operations at the site do not negatively impact on human health, the environment or public amenity.
·To co-operate with site management in improving operating standards and adopt a flexible approach to site tasks.
·To actively participate in maintaining site housekeeping standards by dealing with issues within personal span of control immediately and reporting all other issues to site management.
·To assist in the development and improvement of site activities, processes and procedures.

·Operate the site forklift
·Operate Hook Loader lorry (Training provided)
The Candidate:
·Health and Safety Knowledge / Experience.
·Full Clean Driving Licence.
·Forklift Counterbalance licence (Training will be provided)
·Computer Literate
·Good attention to detail for accurate record keeping.

Hours: 40 hours per week working between the hours 6am and 6pm, to be agreed on a local basis
