Are you a Yard Operator looking for a new opportunity? Would you like to be responsible for the safety and our waste management? John our OFE Flexible Pipe Systems team The Flexible Pipe Systems business supplies specialist unbonded flexible subsea flowline and riser systems globally. We devise smarter systems to control and monitor oil and gas extraction. Innovating in the energy industry, we connect subsea and surface with industry leading technology. Partner with the best The Yard Operator is responsible for completing and monitoring all required tasks as directed by the Lead Operator, working as part of a team. The Operator will assist in the day to day running of the process under the direction of the Lead Operator or Shift Lead performing any reasonable task which is asked of them. As a Yard Operator, you will be responsible for:
- Working as part of a team to deliver a clean and tidy yard, managing waste streams
- Ensuring the yard is safe and efficient so that vehicles can move around effectively
- Overseeing the removal of waste from the factory to the appropriate skips
- Ensuing waste is removed from site in a timely manner
- Taking ownership of reporting of any accidents/incidents or near misses with a positive and safety minded culture
- Ensuring that all recording of equipment movements and required documentation is auctioned with company policies and procedures in a timely manner
Have a mechanical aptitude and proven experience in a mechanical/manufacturing environment - Have basic PC skills and have an ability to use Microsoft Office applications (i.e. Excel, Word & Teams)
- Have experience in using hand and power tools
- Holding appropriate certificates for using and operating of lifting equipment â e.g. fork lift licence
- Holding a driver license
- Have written and verbal communication skills, and work effectively with others Work in a way that works for you
