Full Job Description
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Year 5 Teacher to join our friendly and vibrant school in Roehampton on a maternity cover basis. This is a fantastic opportunity to work within a supportive and dynamic team, making a lasting impact on the education and well-being of our students. The position is available from January 2025.
- Deliver engaging and creative lessons aligned with the Year 5 curriculum.
- Assess and track student progress, adapting teaching strategies to meet individual needs.
- Create a positive, inclusive, and stimulating classroom environment.
- Collaborate with staff, parents, and external agencies to support students' academic and personal development.
- Participate in school events, staff meetings, and professional development opportunities.
- Ensure the well-being and safeguarding of all pupils in your care.
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS). - Experience teaching in Key Stage 2 (preferably Year 5).
- Strong knowledge of the national curriculum and assessment methods.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
- A passion for inspiring young learners and creating a nurturing learning environment.
