Full Job Description

We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Year 6 Teacher to join our team at a one form entry school in the heart of Woking, UK. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality teaching and learning experiences that engage and inspire our students. As a Year 6 Teacher, you will have the opportunity to contribute to the holistic development of our students, ensuring they reach their academic milestones while also fostering their social and emotional well-being.

Attractive daily rate, starting at £150 per day

Responsibilities of a Year 6 Teacher:

  • Plan and deliver engaging lessons that cater to the diverse needs of the students.

  • Create a supportive and inclusive classroom environment where every child feels valued and respected.

  • Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback to support their learning journey.

  • Collaborate with colleagues and parents to promote a culture of partnership and shared responsibility for student success.

  • Utilise innovative teaching strategies and resources to enhance the learning experience.

    Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.

  • Experience teaching in Key Stage 2, preferably within a Year 6 setting.

  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with students, colleagues, and families.

  • A commitment to fostering a nurturing and inclusive learning environment.

  • Excellent organizational skills, with the ability to effectively plan and deliver engaging lessons.

  • A passion for continuous professional development and a willingness to embrace new ideas and methodologies.
