Year 6 Graduate Teaching Assistant September 2024 - July 2025 £80 - £90 per day 'Outstanding' primary school, Central Birmingham 1:1 and small group supports for SATs exam preparationA dedicated Year 6 Graduate Teaching Assistant is required for an 'Outstanding' primary school in Central Birmingham. This role focuses on providing 1:1 and small group support to pupils in KS2, specifically for SATs exam preparation.Responsibilities: Deliver targeted academic assistance to Year 6 pupils in preparation for SATs exams. Provide individualised support to students, helping them understand challenging concepts and improve their academic performance. Conduct small group sessions, focusing on key areas of the SATs curriculum. Assist teachers in planning and implementing effective revision
strategies. Monitor and assess pupil progress, providing constructive feedback and adapting support as necessary. Foster a positive and encouraging learning environment to motivate students. Collaborate with teachers to identify and address the specific needs of each pupil. Requirements: A recent graduate with a strong academic background. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. A genuine interest in supporting young learners and improving their educational outcomes. Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team. Patience, adaptability, and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
