Do you want work in a school that is Outstanding in Personal Development and Leadership & Management? Thistle Hill Academy is looking to recruit an enthusiastic and resilient class teacher to work in Year 6 starting in Term 5 or Term 6. We need someone who is open to new ideas and willing to support our vision to transform the standardised model of direct learning to a model which allows for improved interactions and strengthened relationships that provide our children with opportunities for self-directed learning. The school has just received Outstanding in 2 categories and Good in 3, following an Ofsted inspection in November 2024. We aim to nurture a community of learners that challenge thinking, where our staff are empowered to take risks and develop their practice to meet the needs of an evolving school system, which is not held back by traditional restrictions and ideologies.
