  • As a Year 6 teacher you will be responsible for the pastoral care of children taking their first steps in Key Stage 2, promoting teamwork, and cultivating a conducive learning environment.
  • Teaching the Key Stage 2 curriculum to groups of children while also focusing on each individual child's learning targets, encouraging their strengths, and improving their weaknesses
  • Keeping track of children's progress and occasionally reporting back to parents

    A qualified teacher status (QTS), PGCE or equivalent
  • Experience in teaching Year 6 students and preparing them for SATs exams
  • A proven track record of delivering high-quality lessons and achieving excellent academic results
  • A strong understanding of the national curriculum and assessment methodologies
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills
  • Patience, resilience, and a passion for teaching
  • A willingness to work collaboratively with colleagues
