Full Job Description

To support the team in North Tyneside, Shildon, Teesdale and Leeming with the administrative elements of delivering youth and community work

To support the team with ensuring there are clear and smooth processes that are adhered to in order to support the team.

To work with the team to research, develop and implement efficient ways of working when it comes to administrative tasks

To support the team with the management of grants and funding in line with the

To work with and support the Youth and Community Area Leads in order to continually evaluate and monitor the work delivered.

To support and assist the Volunteer Coordinator in the recruitment, retention, development and support of volunteers.

To offer support to the Youth and Community Worker Area Leads in building and maintaining relationships with other relevant agencies e.g. Schools, Health, Police, community and voluntary groups, etc., All interviews will be fully compliant with Government guidance relating to social distancing. Upon starting a new role with us, we will ensure you are equipped with the tools and technologies which will enable you to do your best work remotely when required. We're looking for someone who is proactive, forward thinking and a solution seeker who can build relationships, advocate for the work of the YMCA and provide timely and effective administrative support. Strong IT skills and critical thinking skills are essential. We are open to looking at Business and Administration apprenticeship opportunities for this role., To be successful, it is essential that you have relevant experience and/or relevant qualifications in youth/community work, recent relevant training and Continued Professional Development. Additionally, it is essential that you have a flexible approach to your working hours, working hours could include daytime, evenings, weekends and bank holidays.
